When you’re partnering with Mary on securing your dream home in the resort towns of Park City or Deer Valley, you will come away with two things: a great understanding of the area’s real estate market and having met someone who truly puts the fun in hard work. A seasoned real estate professional for Summit Sotheby’s International Realty since 2005, Mary spends much of her time keeping her finger on the pulse of the local market’s luxury homes and investment properties, in addition to ranches, vacant land, and single family homes.
Mary’s first introduction to the business of real estate began in Buffalo, New York, having been raised in a family closely involved in development and construction. After graduating from the University of Vermont majoring in Political Science and History, she took a bit of a detour and ventured to the west coast, working within corporate environments for the adventure travel industry and the popular ice cream company, Ben & Jerry’s as a regional manager and marketing executive. Passionate about skiing, she discovered and fell in love with Park City, so much so that Mary ended up purchasing a rental property in 2005 which eventually led her to live in the resort town permanently three years later.
Her enthusiasm and interest in real estate subsequently spilled into a part-time entrepreneurial venture, creating a boutique vacation rental business where she honed her knowledge and skill in the resort setting. With her signature enthusiastic curiosity and drive, Mary spent many hours immersing herself in the study of purchasing and selling properties. Her family convinced Mary to direct her passion to the real estate industry where she has been assisting her clients in successfully selling and buying luxury residential and investment properties since 2008.
Mary has accomplished a great deal in her real estate career, the most recent being ranked as one of the a top sales agents at Summit Sotheby’s every quarter for the past two years. Another outcome of her unbounded enthusiasm landed her on the cover page of Top Agent Magazine in 2015, and featured in O, Entrepreneur and Forbes magazines as the Wasatch Back top women in business in 2017.
Active in Park City community events, including the National Ability Center, People's Health Clinic and Habitat for Humanity, Mary enjoys being an active member of her community. She loved putting energy into her children's school, Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City, and finds balance in the various outdoor activities of skiing, biking, horseback riding and golfing. The reason Mary excels in successfully helping her clients in all aspects of Park City real estate can be summed up in the words of those who know her, “Mary’s super fun to be around. She lights up a room.”
