Suzette has worked in several facets of the real estate industry. She began as a loan processor in the mid-70’s, then began selling real estate in the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Moving north, Suzette founded The Kitselman Company Real Estate Appraisers in 1984, which became the largest independent appraisal company in the 5 counties of the San Francisco Bay Area. She was a government contractor, worked with the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), and was an expert witness in court on real estate matters. 11 years later, she sold the appraisal company to her employees, and became a mortgage broker to learn the financing side of real estate. A top producer at InterBay Financial, she arranged mortgages for all types of properties. Meanwhile, she purchased and renovated numerous Victorian homes and apartment buildings in San Francisco.
Returning to Los Angeles in 2000, she founded Independent Investments, LLC and Intuition Investments LLC; buying and selling NNN retail properties nationwide as principal, over the next 10 years. Going back into Real Estate Sales in January of 2012, she closed the largest deal of the year in her office when she sold an apartment complex in Century City. She then joined Rodeo Realty in Beverly Hills in February of 2013, and represents clients for both residential and commercial properties all over Southern California.
Suzette was raised in La Jolla, California, before it had attitude. She loves to travel, cook, ride her bicycle, and is a cancer survivor. Has 11 nieces and nephews and loves them dearly. Dreams about architecture. Has patched a roof in a rainstorm, laid granite flooring, landscaped gardens, and designed kitchens all by herself. She loves helping busy people understand and navigate their real estate transactions, and reach their home and investment goals.
