Growing up in China, Lillian Lin first became interested in real estate while watching her mother successfully acquire and renovate properties. Lillian herself bought her first family home in New York in 2006 and has been a successful real estate investor since.
A 20-year resident of New York City and 11-year veteran of real estate, Lillian thrives on helping clients achieve their own real estate success, whether that's through the acquisition of a primary residence, investment properties, or both. Lillian believes that the complex New York real estate market doesn't have to be stressful with the right agent at your side. To that end, she has a knack for expertly guiding clients, expecting the unexpected and delivering creative solutions to the inevitable challenges that will arise.
Prior to real estate, Lillian worked at premier financial service institutions, where she catered to high net worth individuals, professionals and business owners. She credits this important role with helping her to better understand her real estate clients' financial situations, so that she can craft the appropriate approach and solutions based on that analysis.
Educated in China and the United States, Lillian understands the different cultures of both countries. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from State University of New York at New Paltz, and a certification in financial planning from Boston University. Today, she resides in Tudor City, near the United Nation Plaza, a neighborhood she adores for its lovely scenery and small city ambiance. Lillian is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese) and is an active member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals, Chinese-American Real Estate Association, the China Institute and the Asia Society. When she's not working, you will find her spending time with family, exercising, travelling and enjoying the city's great museums and cultural events.
